A range of high and low intensity types of exercise- might help depression. Exercise tended to be about as effective for reducing depression as CBT or medications, although a combination of antidepressants tended to improve symptoms more than medication alone. The more intense the workout, the more effective in management of depression. Low intensity physical activity helped as per JAMA (2024).
